PlayStation shared this exciting news through a post on X/Twitter, giving fans a sneak peek at how NetEase Games is transforming the iconic video game outfit for its new hero shooter.

Originally designed for Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man, the sleek Advanced Suit 2.0 has graced all three entries in the series. Its distinctive feature is the now-iconic white spider symbol, and its inclusion in Marvel Rivals marks a notable collaboration with Sony and its console-exclusive superhero game. Fans can look forward to swinging into action with Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit 2.0 in the in-game store starting January 30, coinciding with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 coming to PC.

NetEase's choice to include Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit 2.0 adds another exciting element to the content released with Season 1: Eternal Night Falls last week. This inaugural season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four as new playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch slated to join the roster soon. Creative director Guangyun Chen has also committed to releasing at least one new hero every month and a half, promising a continuous stream of fresh content.
