This event introduces a unique way to compete, complete with a novel win condition, an exclusive Sanctum location, and innovative snapping mechanics that will keep you on your toes.

In the Sanctum Showdown mode of *Marvel Snap*, the traditional game flow changes dramatically. Instead of waiting for the sixth turn, victory is awarded to the first player to reach 16 points. The centerpiece of this mode is the Sanctum location, which hands out the highest number of points each turn. But here's where it gets interesting: snapping mechanics are revamped. From turn three onwards, you can snap once per turn, boosting the Sanctum's value by one point and constantly shifting the game's momentum.

To enter a match, you'll need to spend one Scroll, but winning will replenish your Scroll count, keeping the excitement flowing. You start with 12 Scrolls and receive an additional two every eight hours. If you find yourself short on Scrolls, you can always purchase more for 40 Gold. Regardless of the match's outcome, every game contributes to your Sorcerer Rank and earns you Charms. These Charms can then be used in the Sanctum Shop to snag some cool cosmetics or new cards.

Thinking of leveraging Captain Marvel or Dracula to turn the tide? Think again! In this mode, certain cards and locations are banned to ensure a level playing field. Abilities that affect final outcomes won't fly here, and cards like Debrii have been excluded to prevent any one-sided strategies from dominating.
