2025年适逢中国农历蛇年，也正是《合金装备：Delta潜龙谍影》的预定发售年份，这真是一个绝妙的巧合！Konami官方YouTube频道也发布了一则名为“新年贺词”的视频，庆祝这一巧合。视频中，三位太鼓演奏家激情演奏，一位书法家挥毫泼墨，书写“蛇”字。视频最后以大写字母“蛇年”结尾，象征着这不仅是农历蛇年，也是Solid Snake的闪耀之年。
自2024年5月公布以来，《合金装备：Delta潜龙谍影》仅发布过预告片和东京电玩展试玩版，之后便没有更多消息。不过，该作制作人奥村憲明在接受日本游戏信息网站4Gamer的简短采访时表示，他们2025年的目标之一，也是最大的挑战之一，就是将游戏打磨得更加精良，确保高质量。
《合金装备：Delta潜龙谍影》计划于2025年在PC、PlayStation 5和Xbox Series X|S平台发售。本作是2004年《合金装备3：潜龙谍影》的重制版，将加入次世代改进和全新内容，例如回归《幻痛》中的部分机制，以及由原班配音演员重新演绎的配音和额外台词。
