Regarding Metaphor: ReFantazio, Hashino confirmed there are no immediate plans for a sequel. His focus remains on completing the current project, a title initially conceived as a third major JRPG series alongside Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, aiming for it to become a flagship Atlus title. While a sequel isn't currently on the table, an anime adaptation is under consideration. Metaphor: ReFantazio boasts Atlus' most successful platform launch to date.
The game's peak concurrent player count exceeded 85,961, significantly surpassing Persona 5 Royal (35,474) and Persona 3 Reload (45,002). Metaphor: ReFantazio is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
