When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

Mark your calendars! The Monster Outbreaks testing will take place from April 26th to 27th. The event will occur twice daily on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time. During these designated hours, you'll encounter an unprecedented surge of 8-star Black Diablos at specific outbreak points on the map.

The challenge is clear: team up with fellow hunters to take down a total of 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak spot within the one-hour window. Note that this count is specific to each location, not a global total. To participate, you must be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 11. Importantly, the party feature won't be available; only in-person group hunts will count toward your goal.

Outbreak points are easily identifiable on the map with a unique icon. Tapping on these icons will reveal more details about the event. Additionally, a sign-up roster is available at each spot, allowing you to coordinate with other players and plan your hunting times effectively.

Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!

The mechanics of the Monster Outbreaks are fascinating. If you and three other hunters successfully take down one Black Diablos, it counts as four toward the collective goal of 100. Should your group reach this target before the hour ends, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the time, as they'll be the only monsters spawning during these outbreaks.

The rewards for your efforts are substantial. If your group manages to hit the 100-monster mark, you'll receive 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Moreover, using the sign-up roster grants you a chance to earn the special Outbreak Test I Medal, adding a unique collectible to your inventory.
