Monster Hunter Now's second Season 5 update, "The Blossoming Blade," introduces the special Spring Hunt 2025 event. This online paid event runs from May 24th to May 25th, 2025, and prominently features the elder dragon Chameleos.

What is the Spring Hunt 2025 event in Monster Hunter Now?

To participate in Spring Hunt 2025, you need to purchase an event ticket from the in-game shop. This ticket grants access to continuous Elder Dragon Interceptions featuring exclusively Chameleos, eliminating any wait times between interceptions and Hunt-a-thons. You will also receive bonus layered gear inspired by Chameleos.

The event also includes Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be operational, with the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub available from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m.

Between May 19th and May 25th, you can earn tokens by defeating large monsters and elder dragons. These tokens can be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.

Ready to Hunt Chameleos?

Chameleos is infamous for its stealth tactics and a disorienting mist that reduces visibility. Starting May 24th, 2025, you can challenge this elusive elder dragon in Elder Dragon Interceptions.

Hunters ranked 100 and above can encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. Chameleos is particularly weak to Fire, Dragon, and Blast elements, so prepare your gear accordingly.

Defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armor, which includes the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill halves the duration of poison and venom effects on you and makes it easier to inflict poison on your targets.
