Marvel has plans for Moon Knight's return to the MCU, but a Season 2 isn't in the cards. Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum told ComicBook that while fans can expect more of Oscar Isaac's character, it won't be in the form of a second season of the Disney+ series. This shift stems from a change in Marvel Television's strategy since Moon Knight's 2022 release. Previously, the focus was on establishing characters through standalone shows before integrating them into larger MCU projects, as seen with Ms. Marvel and The Marvels. Now, the approach is geared towards creating shows with annual releases, more akin to traditional television. Winderbaum stated, “So I think Marvel Television has happened in waves, and I think Moon Knight happened in a wave of shows that were going to establish characters that would tie-in to the future…And moving forward our priorities have shifted. We’re making shows as shows that can exist as annual releases, more like television. I would love to see a Moon Knight Season 2, but there are plans for Moon Knight down the road.”

While Isaac voiced Moon Knight in Marvel’s What If…?, his live-action return remains unannounced. The MCU's upcoming TV slate includes Daredevil: Born Again (March), Ironheart (June), Eyes of Wakanda (August), Marvel Zombies (October), and Wonder Man (December). Recently, Marvel Television reportedly paused production on Nova, Strange Academy, and Terror, Inc., but Winderbaum confirmed they are exploring a potential reunion of the street-level heroes from The Defenders.
