Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a massive update set to launch on March 25th, courtesy of Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios. This update promises new fighters, a revamped Faction Wars system now called Realm Klash, a new challenge tower, and a slew of anniversary rewards that will keep players engaged and excited.

The update's centerpiece is the introduction of MK1 Geras, a new diamond-tier fighter with a diverse set of abilities including power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To unlock Geras, players will need to participate in Realm Klash or advance through the Kombat Pass.

Klassic Skarlet joins the roster as the first gold-tier fighter that can be fully ascended to Level 5. With unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from enemies, Skarlet can be obtained through the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the regular one.

The revamped Faction Wars, now known as Realm Klash, allows players to choose from five different realms and compete for Realm Points over two-week seasons, replacing the traditional fight for Blood Rubies.

The 10th Anniversary update introduces new ranks such as Elder God, God, and Demi God, and revamps Blood Ruby Packs to include fresh Kameo offers along with MK1 Geras rewards. The mode also features a visual update, new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for old exploits.

The new Tower of Time presents an extreme test with a limited-time event spanning two weeks and featuring only 50 floors. Players can collect seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces, with MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras receiving their own Brutality equipment sets. A Fusion Boost modifier ensures the lowest fused card in your team gets a power-up, balancing the gameplay. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are making a comeback.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, starting April 1st, players will receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo daily for 10 days. Additionally, three gold-tier fighters, Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke, are now eligible for ascension.
