Surprisingly, Mantis, the most popular competitive character, also held the unfortunate title of most defeated hero. Her dominance extended across PC and console platforms, surpassing Hela, Loki, and Magic. Consoles saw a broader success, with 14 additional characters boasting win rates exceeding 50%.

Conversely, unpopular characters emerged. Storm, Black Widow, and Wolverine lagged in "quick play," while Nemore occupied the bottom rung in competitive modes.

Marvel Rivals is currently facing controversy after receiving over 500 mods in a single month. The removal of mods from Nexus Mods, which replaced Captain America's head with images of Donald Trump and Joe Biden, sparked significant user backlash.

Nexus Mods' owner, TheDarkOne, addressed the situation in a private Reddit discussion, explaining that both Trump and Biden-related mods were removed simultaneously to avoid accusations of bias. This action, however, has seemingly gone unnoticed by YouTube commentators.
