Japan Release Postponed

Nintendo Japan has announced a postponement of the general sale of the Alarmo, originally scheduled for February 2025. The delay is attributed to production and inventory challenges. There's currently no word on whether this affects other regions, with a global launch still planned for March 2025.

In the interim, a pre-order system will be implemented exclusively for Japanese Nintendo Switch Online members. Pre-orders are expected to open in mid-December, with shipments beginning in early February 2025. Specific pre-order dates will be announced soon.

The Nintendo Alarmo: A Popular Alarm Clock

Launched globally in October, the Alarmo is a unique alarm clock featuring sounds from popular Nintendo franchises like Super Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Splatoon, and RingFit Adventure, with more to be added via updates.

Its initial success overwhelmed Nintendo, leading to the suspension of online orders and a lottery system for purchasing. The Alarmo quickly sold out in physical Nintendo stores in Japan and New York.
