Niantic has exciting news for Pokémon GO enthusiasts: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, are set to make their debut in the game during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, kicking off on January 15. This event promises a wealth of new experiences and encounters, including the chance to participate in special research to save Shadow Palkia and encounter new Shadow Pokémon.

Shroodle, a unique Poison/Normal-type Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, boasts a distinctive large head and eyes that dominate its small frame. At level 28, Shroodle evolves into Grafaiai, a lemur-like primate with large eyes and uniquely sized three-fingered hands. Both creatures have previously appeared in Pokémon Horizons, adding to their allure.

Fashion Week: Taken Over Event Details

• Duration: From January 15 at 12 am to January 19, 2025, at 8 pm local time.
• New Pokémon: Shroodle, available from 12 km eggs, can evolve into Grafaiai using 50 Shroodle Candy.
• Surprise Encounters: Players taking snapshots during the event may encounter a fashion week-outfitted Croagunk.
