Metaphor: ReFantazio Party Member Recruitment Guide: A Detailed Timeline

Beyond the protagonist, seven companions will join your adventure in Metaphor: ReFantazio, each contributing their unique combat skills. While Gallica is present from the outset, her combat participation is limited initially.

Spoiler Warning: This guide reveals the recruitment dates for each party member. Reading ahead may spoil aspects of the game's narrative.

Each party member unlocks a unique Archetype. Once unlocked, any party member can utilize that Archetype. Early recruits may be initially AI-controlled before gaining full player control upon Archetype awakening.

Party Member Recruitment Schedule:

• Strohl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th during the Border Fort events. Awakens and becomes fully controllable on June 6th in the Nord Mines.

• Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events but is combat-ready on June 6th, after Strohl's awakening. Grius doesn't undergo a traditional Archetype awakening.

• Hulkenberg (Knight): Begins interacting with the party on June 10th. Fully joins and awakens her Archetype during the boss fight on June 11th.

• Heismay (Thief): Appears in Martira. Awakens and joins the party on July 4th within the town's main dungeon.

• Junah (Masked Dancer): Present throughout the game, Junah awakens and joins your party on August 13th.

• Eupha (Summoner): Her recruitment is flexible. She joins during the Dragon Temple Dungeon completion, anytime between August 19th and September 4th, participating in the final boss fight. Her Bond quest, however, begins after this period.

• Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins on September 11th during the Saint's Day events. He becomes usable in combat the following day.
