Pokémon Go gets ready for the debut of Applin and Dynamax Entei later this month
Two exciting Pokémon from the Galar region are making their debut in Pokémon Go this month, offering a mix of cuteness and power that's sure to delight fans. From April 24th to 29th, the Sweet Discoveries event introduces the adorable Dragon/Grass-type Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples to evolve into Flapple, or Sweet Apples for Appletun. Keep an eye out for apples in the wild, particularly around Mossy Lures, where Applin might also appear.
During the Sweet Discoveries event, you'll encounter wild spawns like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will give you more chances to catch themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, offers Sweet and Tart Apples. Opting for the paid version will reward you with additional Mossy Lure Modules and extra Applin encounters.
Don’t miss out on the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and participate in PokéStop Showcases to showcase your themed Pokémon. For those who prefer a fiery challenge, mark your calendar for the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th–27th, featuring the debut of Dynamax Entei. There's even a chance to encounter a Shiny Entei if luck is on your side.

The event bonuses are plentiful, including an increased Max Particle cap, reduced distance needed to collect them, and faster Power Spot refresh rates.
