Event Dates:

The Lapras EX drop event runs from November 5th to November 18th, 12:59 a.m. Eastern Time. Secure your Lapras EX and other exciting rewards within this timeframe.

Getting Started:

Ensure your Pokémon TCG Pocket app is updated. Navigate to the Battles tab, select Solo, and choose the "Lapras EX Drop Event" category. Four AI battles await, each offering unique challenges and rewards.

Battles and Challenges:

Four battles of increasing difficulty (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert) feature distinct Water-type Pokémon decks. Challenges vary, including knocking out opponents with Lightning-type attacks, deploying specific Pokémon types, and achieving victory within a set number of turns. Rewards include Pack Hourglasses, Shinedust, Shop Tickets, and XP. The Expert battle guarantees a Promo Pack.

Event Hourglasses:

Event stamina refreshes every 12 hours (max 5). Earned Event Hourglasses replenish stamina instantly.

Optimal Deck Strategy:

A Pikachu EX deck is highly effective. The Lapras EX decks' Water-type Pokémon are weak to Lightning. Consider a deck including: Pikachu EX x2, Zapdos EX x2, Voltorb x2, Electrode x2, Blitzle x2, Zebstrika x2, Giovanni x2, Sabrina x2, X Speed x2, Professor’s Research x2. Alternatively, substitute EX cards with less rare options like Helioptile/Heliolisk or Magnemite/Magneton.

Promo Pack Rewards:

Promo Packs contain one of the following cards (new variants for existing cards, except Lapras EX): Mankey, Pikachu, Clefairy, Butterfree, Lapras EX. Lapras EX boasts 140 HP and the "Bubble Drain" attack (2 Water Energy, 1 Colorless Energy): 80 damage, heals 20 HP. 3 Retreat Cost.
