Taking Place in Taiwan and Los Angeles

Pokémon GO enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the rich lore of the Unova region with the upcoming Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event, scheduled for February 21-23, 2025. Drawing inspiration from Pokémon Black Version, White Version, Black Version 2, and White Version 2, this event will be hosted at two iconic venues: Los Angeles' Rose Bowl Stadium and New Taipei's Metropolitan Park.

Each location will feature distinct themed habitats such as Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, and Autumn Masquerade, each teeming with Unova's native Pokémon. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to catch different shiny variants of Deerling based on the habitat and time of day.

Ticket holders in both New Taipei City and Los Angeles can encounter Shiny Meloetta through Masterwork Research. They may also hatch Shiny versions of Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and other Pokémon. Additionally, through Field Research, lucky trainers might encounter shiny Pikachu sporting unique headwear.

Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom, the iconic figures from the Black & White series, will appear as Five-Star Raid bosses. Three-Star Raids will feature Druddigon, while Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott will be available in One-Star Raids, all with an increased chance of shiny encounters.

Tickets for this event are currently available at a discounted rate for a limited time. In Los Angeles, tickets are priced at $25 USD, while in New Taipei, they cost $630 NT. Enhance your experience with various ticket add-ons that offer unique bonuses, such as an additional 5,000 XP after completing a raid.

The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., following the local time zones (US - PST and Taiwan - GMT+8). Various booths and team lounges will be available, offering exclusive merchandise and a space to unwind after a day of capturing, battling, and hatching Pokémon.

For those unable to attend this exclusive in-person event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global will take place on March 1-2, allowing all trainers to explore the Unova region for free.

Pokémon GO City Safari Launching This December 2024

Mark your calendars for another exciting event, Pokémon GO City Safari, set to launch on December 7-8, 2024. This citywide adventure will take place in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil, running from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Join Professor Willow and Eevee on a thrilling journey to unravel the mysteries of Pokémon.

Trainers will receive a special Eevee wearing an explorer hat at the event's start. Evolving this Eevee into forms like Sylveon or Jolteon requires 25 Eevee candies, and the evolved Pokémon will retain the explorer hat. Participate in the Eevee Explorers Expedition to earn an additional Eevee with the explorer hat, totaling two.

During the event, special Pokémon such as Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, and more will appear in the wild. Some Pokémon, including Oricorio (Pom-Pom Style and Sensu Style), Swablu, and Skiddo, can only be found by hatching eggs. The event location will also influence which unique Pokémon you encounter.

To aid in your exploration of Hong Kong or São Paulo, event maps will be provided, and participants will receive a Pikachu or Eevee visor to shield them from the sun. These items are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets for Pokémon GO City Safari are priced at R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong. Trainers can also purchase ticket add-ons for additional items and an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon.
