Pokémon Go now lets you join Raids from your friend list
Pokémon Go simplifies Raid joining via your friends list! Now, if you're Great Friends or higher with a player, you can easily join their Raid battles, see the boss Pokémon, and lend a hand without needing an invitation. Prefer solo play? No problem – you can easily disable this feature in the game's settings.
This small but significant update, announced on the official Pokémon Go blog, improves the in-game social experience. It's a long-awaited change that reflects Niantic's increased responsiveness to player feedback.
Solo Play Option Remains
The update enhances coordination for players with established friendships, making collaborative Raids much simpler. However, the option to opt out ensures solo players aren't forced into group activities.
