Journey a millennium back in time to conquer the world before history unfolds!
When a modern army travels a thousand years into the past to dominate the world ahead of schedule, they find their primitive adversaries are full of surprises! Lead a global resistance with hundreds of warriors from diverse cultures. Take direct control of a single hero or command entire armies from a strategic view. This game masterfully blends empire-building strategy with hands-on, interactive battles for the ultimate experience. And just when you think the conflict is over… history might be ready to repeat itself.
UPGRADES
The core game is free to play, but optional upgrades let you tailor your campaign—choose your faction and starting territory size. Unleash chaos in fantasy battles that pit any two cultures against each other with as many units as your device can manage. You can even edit every character in the world, though please note the game actively uses up to 1,000 characters that are regularly cycled.
CONTROLS
When controlling an individual unit, choose between the “Classic” one‑handed control scheme or “Dual Wield” for independent hand control. If you’re new to the series, simply pause the action by tapping the timeline to review the “Controls” guide. Also watch for in‑game hints from scrolls and books you can collect and read.
Switch control between team members anytime by tapping their health bar or directly pointing at them on the battlefield. Tap the arrows at the screen’s bottom to enter “Commander” mode—step back and direct any active ally by swiping from their position to a target. They’ll interpret your command to move, engage an enemy, or collect an item, though they’ll act according to their own priorities and timing.
Regardless of your device or control style, you can always zoom in and out by pinching the center of the screen.
MAP
In the main “Campaign” mode, expand your territory by moving units from one region to any connected region. You can “fortify” a held territory or attempt to seize a rival one. Note that only 50% of the units in a territory are available to move, making invasions more challenging than defense.
Inhabited territories may gain population after each round, so controlling more land is key. Units also heal gradually over time, so rotating through different locations each turn is a smart tactic.
PERFORMANCE
Please be aware this is the most ambitious game I’ve created to date and may require a high‑end device for optimal performance. To improve framerate, try lowering the “Population” setting to reduce on‑screen characters or adjust other options in the “Display” menu.
I regret there’s far more to this game than I could possibly detail here—I hope you enjoy discovering its depth for yourself!
