All Monsters in R.E.P.O.
Animal
Threat Level: Low
The Animal is swift but weak, posing little threat. It offers minimal resistance and is easily dispatched.
Apex Predator (Duck)
Threat Level: Low
Unless provoked, the Apex Predator is harmless. For an easy profit, lure it to the extraction zone and crush it with the piston.
Bang
Threat Level: Medium
The Bang is a volatile, grenade-like enemy. Upon detection or attack, it rushes towards you and explodes. Safely dispose of it by throwing it into water, lava, or acid. It can also be used to damage other monsters.
Bowtie
Threat Level: Low
Bowties emit a scream upon spotting a player, hindering movement and pushing you backward. While the scream itself is harmless, it can propel you into damaging objects. Their slow speed and immobility during their scream make them vulnerable to attacks. Approach cautiously when they're not alert.
Chef
Threat Level: Medium
The Chef's attacks are predictable. It leaps and slashes with knives. Dodge to disrupt its balance, creating an opening to strike.
Clown
Threat Level: High
The Clown is a formidable foe. It attacks with a height-adjusting laser beam and a melee charge. After firing its laser, it's briefly stunned, offering a chance to attack or escape.
Gnome
Threat Level: Low
Gnomes often travel in groups, prioritizing loot destruction over player harm. Their weakness makes them easy to eliminate by picking them up and slamming them against a wall or the floor.
Headman
Threat Level: Low
The Headman, a floating head, is largely non-aggressive unless provoked by light.
Hidden
Threat Level: Medium
The Hidden, a cloud of black smoke, can grab you, stun you, and cause you to drop items. Its ability to pull you towards other enemies is dangerous. Due to its difficult visibility, evasion is often the best strategy.
Huntsman
Threat Level: Medium
The Huntsman is blind but highly sensitive to sound. It fires a shotgun upon hearing noise, potentially delivering an instant kill at close range. Its predictable patrol route allows for easy avoidance. Direct confrontation is discouraged.
Mentalist
Threat Level: Medium
This alien-like, floating enemy activates an anti-gravity field, levitating nearby objects before slamming them to the ground. It can teleport. However, it's susceptible to melee weapons, and other players can help you escape the anti-gravity field.
Reaper
Threat Level: Medium
The Reaper is slow, deaf, and doesn't chase far, making it easily avoidable. Ranged weapons are most effective.
Robe
Threat Level: High
Robe is fast and aggressive. Direct eye contact triggers a frenzy, increasing its speed and damage. Avoid looking at it and hide until it moves on. Direct combat is not recommended.
Rugrat
Threat Level: Low
While seemingly harmless, Rugrat scavenges items and throws them at players. It flees when empty-handed. Eliminating it requires multiple players to lift and smash it.
Spewer
Threat Level: Medium
This tadpole-like enemy chases and vomits on players, causing damage. Grabbing and shaking it will cause it to flee. Its vomit can also damage enemies.
Shadow Child
Threat Level: Low
Despite its creepy appearance, the Shadow Child has very low health and can be easily one-shot.
Trudge
Threat Level: High
Trudge is slow but deadly. It pulls players towards it before striking with a potentially fatal mace attack. It can also pull you from hiding spots. Evasion is the best strategy.
Upscream
Threat Level: Medium
Upscreams travel in groups, grabbing and throwing players. They are vulnerable to most attacks, but the tranq gun is particularly effective for stunning and then eliminating them.
