Back in January, Bluepoch Games thrilled fans with the announcement of an exciting collaboration between Reverse: 1999 and Assassin’s Creed. Now, they've unveiled more tantalizing details about this crossover event, which will bring the iconic Ezio Auditore da Firenze into the game as a playable character.

In partnership with Ubisoft, the collaboration dives deep into two of the most cherished entries in the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans were treated to a teaser in January, showcasing Vertin navigating a rain-drenched street with the luminous Assassin’s Creed logo beckoning in the distance.

Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!

The full details of the collaboration have now been released, and it's set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond the inclusion of Ezio, players have much to anticipate from the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover.

The event unfolds over two distinct phases, each brimming with Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and events. Phase I transports players to the heart of Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the intricate streets of 15th-century Italy, piecing together cryptic clues.

Phase II then shifts the scene to the ancient landscapes of Greece, immersing players in the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. If you’re familiar with the game, you’ll spot some familiar events as Vertin and her crew dive into this historical adventure.

It’s a Special Crossover

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time all servers globally are synchronized, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the event content simultaneously.

Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that masterfully blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players take on the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon known as The Storm. Following the storms, entire eras vanish, compelling Vertin and her partner Sonetto to journey through time, rescuing other arcanists affected by these temporal shifts.
