Reverse: 1999 Celebrates Its First Anniversary With Version 1.9 Update ‘Vereinsamt’
Bluepoch Games' time-travel RPG, Reverse: 1999, celebrates its first anniversary with a massive Version 1.9 update, aptly titled "Vereinsamt" (Lonely in German). This update is packed with new content, including free characters, limited-time banners, and exciting new game modes.
A Lonely Anniversary Celebration? Not Quite!
Log in during the anniversary event to receive Semmelweis, a free 6-star character, and 30 free character pulls. Another 6-star character, Lucy, a robot-designed Awakened arcanist inspired by Metropolis, is available via the limited "Thoughts in Cylinder" banner. Lucy's connection to a Watt steam engine prototype fuels her dedication to scientific advancement.
Returning favorites include the 5-star character Matilda and Kakania (first seen in Version 1.7), both summonable in the "Observation into the Mirrors" banner starting October 10th.

New Game Modes and Collaborations -------------------------------------The update introduces "A Series of Dusks," a new rogue-like mode where you can earn the 5-star character Lorelei and various rewards.
Exciting collaborations are also in store. Discovery will provide new outfits for Tooth Fairy and Getian, while KOI will launch special limited-edition merchandise starting in October.
Version 1.9 also marks the debut of the game's first unique garment. Regulus receives the "Take Off! To the Future" outfit, complete with new Ultimate moves and added features. Jessica, Voyager, and Sonetto will also receive new clothing options.
