The gameplay unfolds in a turn-based format, where the sequence of actions is determined by each character's Speed stat. A round concludes once all allies and enemies have taken their turns. You can deploy up to five characters in battle, and the game features a convenient "Quick Dispatch" option that automatically arranges your team based on the strongest characters available. Once your squad is set, you can sit back, relax, and immerse yourself in the stunning animations that accompany each Stellaris's unique abilities.

Your Stellaris are equipped with both active and passive abilities that they deploy automatically during combat. Each skill has a cooldown period, requiring a certain number of turns before it can be used again.
