What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs is EA's initiative to gather crucial feedback for the next Battlefield title. This program invites select players into the "war room," providing opportunities for early, remote playtests. Chosen participants will directly influence development by sharing feedback with EA's Battlefield Studios team.

Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will participate, with plans to expand globally to tens of thousands. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta?

While EA has previously utilized betas, Battlefield Labs operates differently. Expect work-in-progress content with more bugs and rough edges than a typical beta. EA aims to gather feedback on core gameplay elements like combat, map flow, and balance. Important note: Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and cannot publicly share information.
