EOS: A Crossplay Mandate

Epic Games confirmed to Eurogamer that crossplay is mandatory for multiplayer titles on the Epic Games Store, requiring EOS integration. While Focus Entertainment clarified that linking Steam and Epic accounts isn't required for single-player, Epic's policy necessitates EOS for cross-platform play, impacting even Steam users who don't utilize this feature.
