Developer Tomoki Fukushima has launched Sphere Defense, a captivating tower defense game where players protect Earth from relentless enemy waves. While the core gameplay remains true to the tower defense genre—strategic unit placement and resource management are key to survival—Sphere Defense distinguishes itself with its minimalist aesthetic and vibrant neon visuals.

The game challenges players to strategically position towers and units to repel incoming attacks. Each successful defense earns resources used to upgrade units, leading to victory. Difficulty progressively increases, rewarding skillful players with high scores for conquering levels without taking damage.

Fukushima explains the inspiration: "This game is a tribute to 'geoDefense,' David Whatley's tower defense game from over a decade ago. 'geoDefense's' simple yet engaging and beautiful design deeply impressed me."
