Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat
Following the epic conclusion of the Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unleashed a thrilling new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing two dynamic characters: Spider-Woman and Lumatrix. This update not only expands the roster but also brings fresh quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, packed with exciting rewards for players to chase.
Spider-Woman swings into action on April 17th, leveraging her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills to bolster your team in The Contest. On the other hand, Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025, debuts on April 9th. This dazzling yet lethal assassin, created by The Founders, brings a unique flair with their light manipulation powers. To add Lumatrix to your roster, you'll need to gather Light Essence from various in-game activities like Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids. The event to collect this essence runs until June 4th.

The new quest, Spy Games, adds another layer of intrigue to the game, featuring Black Widow teaming up with Spider-Woman to delve into the mysterious arrival of the Eidols. This espionage-filled adventure, running from March 9th to May 7th, promises danger and deception at every corner, with Spider-Woman and Black Widow at the heart of unraveling Lumatrix’s sinister light show.
Adding to the excitement, Deadpool joins the fray with the Red & Dead’s Discount Shed event, scheduled from April 25th to May 2nd. Convinced by Red Guardian, Deadpool is ready to share a trove of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale, from May 7th to 14th, offers players a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.
Later this month, fans can look forward to the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, shaking up the seven-day supply drop from April 18th through May 2nd. By achieving milestones, players can earn Poolshields, which can then be exchanged for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, encouraging regular logins for more free rewards.
