Hazelight's beloved co-op adventure, Split Fiction, has achieved an impressive milestone by selling nearly four million copies. Publisher EA highlighted this achievement in their latest financial results, describing the game's launch as "hugely successful" and crediting it as a key factor in their strong finish to the 2025 financial year.

In an enthusiastic social media post, Hazelight celebrated the news, stating, "4 MILLION SOLD!!!! So many of you have picked up Split Fiction already, it's amazing... Seeing the fun you have with our game and the love you show for Mio, Zoe, and each other warms our hearts here at Hazelight. And so many hot dogs made..."

Split Fiction invites players into the diverse worlds crafted by two fiction writers, delivering a boundary-pushing co-op experience that allows two players to enjoy the game even if only one owns it. Launched in March, the game quickly became a hit for Hazelight and designer Josef Fares, selling over two million copies within its first week. Additionally, Split Fiction is set to be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2 as Hazelight begins work on their next project.

Exciting developments continue for Split Fiction as a movie adaptation is in the works. Story Kitchen, known for their work on the Sonic films, is currently assembling a team of writers, a director, and a cast that includes Sydney Sweeney.
