I've highlighted ***The Apothecary Diaries, Once Upon A Witch’s Death, The Beginning After The End, To Be Hero X***, and ***WITCH WATCH*** in my roundup of Spring 2025 anime dubs coming to Crunchyroll, but there are some other great picks from the list above that you should definitely add to your watch list.

***Devil May Cry*** is Netflix's latest venture into animated video game adaptations. With a Limp Bizkit-soundtracked trailer and a new Evanescence track, it's clear that the creators are aiming for a specific tone that will resonate with their target audience. Netflix's track record with anime and anime-style game IPs is mixed, ranging from hits like *Castlevania*, *Arcane*, and *Cyberpunk: Edgerunners* to misses like *Tekken: Bloodline* and *Dragon’s Dogma*. However, with Adi Shankar, who has *Castlevania* and *Guardians of Justice* under his belt, and Studio Mir, known for *Avatar: The Last Airbender* and *Korra*, at the helm, expectations are high. Even if you're not familiar with the *Devil May Cry* universe, fans of anime like *Trigun* will appreciate the edgy adventures of Dante.

***Moonrise*** presents a unique concept where the moon fights for independence. This ONA boasts impressive talent behind it, including WIT Studio (*Attack On Titan, Vinland Saga*), character designs by Hiromu Arakawa (*Fullmetal Alchemist*), and direction by Masashi Koizuka (*Attack On Titan* Seasons 2 & 3). Despite the limited information available on the story, originally slated for 2024, the secrecy suggests something special is in the works.

Lastly, ***YAIBA: Samurai Legends*** might be less known outside Japan or among younger audiences, but it has a dedicated following since its manga debuted in the late 1980s. Created by Gosho Aoyama, famous for *Case Closed*, this samurai comedy series follows Yaiba Kurogane in his battles against a formidable foe with a magical katana and a demon army. WIT Studio's second adaptation after the '90s TV run, with Aoyama's direct involvement, promises a blend of *Detective Conan*'s style with the humor of early *Dragon Ball* and plenty of Japanese historical references.
