游戏于2024年11月20日发售，玩家们迅速涌入切尔诺贝利禁区，体验紧张刺激的生存与战斗。百万销量包含Steam和Xbox Series X|S平台的总销量，而订阅了Xbox Game Pass的玩家数量并未包含在内，这意味着实际玩家数量可能更高。

积极收集玩家反馈，修复游戏BUG

首个游戏补丁本周发布
在收集了大量玩家反馈后，开发团队于11月24日在Steam页面上宣布了首个游戏补丁的发布计划。“《辐射2：切尔诺贝利之心》的首个补丁将在本周内发布——PC和Xbox平台同步更新。”
该补丁将修复崩溃、主线任务卡顿等问题，并对游戏性进行改进，包括武器价格调整等，以提升整体玩家体验。模拟摇杆和A-Life系统将在未来的更新中进行优化。
