Aspyr's upcoming release of Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles for modern consoles features a surprising playable character: Jar Jar Binks. A new trailer showcases Binks wielding a staff in action-packed gameplay.

This isn't the only addition; Aspyr has unveiled ten new playable characters, with more to come, expanding on the original 2000 release's roster. The updated version boasts enhanced features including customizable lightsaber colors and cheat code support.

The recently released trailer highlights Jar Jar's gameplay, featuring his characteristic chaotic style and voice lines. While some fans may have envisioned a more villainous "Darth Jar Jar" interpretation, Binks utilizes a large staff in combat. He will be available at launch on January 23rd, and pre-orders are open.
