Smith claimed that development on the SW: KotOR Remake has been completely halted, contradicting Saber Interactive's 2024 statement that the project was still in progress. He further revealed that some team members have been reassigned to other projects, while others have been laid off. If these claims hold true, it could mark the final blow for fans eagerly anticipating a remake of the iconic RPG.
It's important to consider Smith's track record. He has previously provided accurate insider information, such as hinting at an upcoming announcement from Housemarque, which later proved correct.
