Publisher Dotemu, in collaboration with studios Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, has announced the upcoming release of Absolum, an exciting new fantasy beat 'em up that integrates roguelite elements. Set in the ravaged world of Talamh, the game unfolds in the aftermath of a devastating magical cataclysm. In this world, the fear of magic has been weaponized by the tyrannical King-Sun Azra, who uses his Crimson Order to enslave mages. A band of courageous heroes emerges to challenge his rule, including the necromancer Galandra, the rebel gnome Karl, the mage Brom, and the enigmatic Sidr.

Players can look forward to engaging in high-octane action, with the ability to upgrade their skills, execute powerful combos, and wield magical spells. Absolum offers both single-player and cooperative modes, allowing players to team up, combine their attacks, and synchronize their strikes for devastating effects.
