During an appearance on the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, Sudeikis revealed that the beloved Apple TV+ series will return for at least one more season. He teased, "That’s what we’re writing. We’re writing Season 4 now…Ted’s coaching a women’s team.”

This is the first concrete update in almost two years, confirming the continuation of the feel-good soccer series. While details remain scarce, Sudeikis remained tight-lipped about whether Season 4 will be the final season or where the story will take place, even dodging Travis Kelce’s question about Ted’s return to the U.S. He laughed, "Yeah, that’s too many questions, and that’s only because I don’t know.”

According to Deadline, Juno Temple (Keeley) is in negotiations to return, joining Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brett Goldstein (Roy), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie), who are all confirmed to reprise their roles. Deadline sources suggest that filming for the first episode of Season 4 will likely begin in Kansas City before the story returns to the UK, with production aiming to start in July.

Apple TV+ is already generating buzz around Ted Lasso’s return. While a release date and plot details are still under wraps, the show’s official X/Twitter account recently resurfaced with a humorous post acknowledging its extended hiatus.
