What’s The Scoop On Warframe: 1999?

Set to launch in Winter 2024 across all current platforms, Warframe: 1999 introduces a gripping narrative set on an alternate, grungy Earth in the year 1999. This expansion promises a world brimming with secrets and mysteries, where players will team up with six iconic Protoframes to track down Dr. Entrati before the New Year's Eve clock strikes midnight.

The excitement doesn't stop there—fans won't have to wait until winter to dive into the action. This August, the 1999 Prologue Quest, titled 'The Lotus Eaters,' will be available on all platforms. Accompanying this quest will be the release of Sevagoth Prime, along with exclusive weapons and accessories, ensuring players get a taste of what's to come.

What Else Is In Store?

TennoCon 2024 also showcased several other exciting reveals. Meet Cyte-09, the new Warframe who transitioned from a fortune hunter to the sharpest marksman on Arthur’s team. Sporting a stylish beret, Cyte-09 brings his skills from 1999 into the present Origin System, ready to prove the prowess of a sharpshooter from the past.

Another highlight is the introduction of Infested 90’s Boy Band Hunts, featuring Infested Liches styled after the 90’s boy band On-lyne. Adding to the fun, Nick Apostolides, known from Resident Evil 4, made a special appearance. The event also introduced new mounts, such as the Atomicyle, a versatile ride capable of drifting, bullet-jumping, and even causing explosions.
