Terminator 2D: No Fate, the new retro-styled game that merges iconic moments from *Terminator 2: Judgment Day* with original storylines and multiple endings, has been delayed once again, this time to November 26, 2025.

It seems even Skynet can’t escape supply chain issues. Publisher Reef Entertainment announced the delay in a short blog post, citing "ongoing global trade and tariff adjustments" which slowed the shipment of components for the game's Day One and Collector's Editions.

"To ensure all editions launch simultaneously, this new date applies globally to both physical and digital versions," Reef stated. "We sincerely thank you for your continued patience and apologize for this further postponement. The development team is dedicated to making the final product worth the wait, and we look forward to sharing *Terminator 2D: No Fate* with everyone this November."

In *Terminator 2D: No Fate*, players take on the roles of Sarah Connor and the T-800 in a mission to thwart Skynet's plans and prevent humanity's extinction. The game is scheduled for release on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and previous-generation consoles. Its launch was originally set for September 5 before being postponed to late October.

As IGN reported in June, developers at Bitmap Bureau located the actor who portrayed the future war version of John Connor in the 1991 film to secure his likeness for the game, and also explained why Arnold Schwarzenegger's likeness is not included.

(The game expands on a fleeting scene from the film, allowing players to directly control John Connor during the future war in a full-fledged section dedicated to the battle against the machines.)
