Netflix Games is soon to feature the narrative-driven action-adventure game, Thirsty Suitors. Currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, this unique title blends turn-based combat with skateboarding and cooking, offering a fresh take on the dating sim genre.

Instead of focusing on romantic pursuits, Thirsty Suitors puts players in the shoes of a character navigating breakups and family relationships in the 1990s. The game explores themes of culture, relationships, and self-discovery. Players will engage in turn-based RPG battles against their exes, utilizing a mood-based combat system to exploit weaknesses.

Beyond combat, the game features skateboarding challenges throughout the town of Timber Hills, including grinding and wall-running. Players can also impress their mom by preparing South Asian-inspired meals, a key element in repairing their relationship.

Outerloop Games, the developers behind Thirsty Suitors, will participate in a Games for Change Festival panel on June 27th and 28th in New York, discussing representation in video games. The panel will highlight the importance of inclusivity and making underrepresented players feel seen.
