If you've been longing for a return to Tony Hawk's Underground, you're in good company — Tony Hawk himself is also "campaigning" for a remake.

"I always have aspirations," Hawk told ScreenRant. "Usually, it's not my decision. I'll push for it as much as I can, but I'm working with a much larger, much smarter company."

When asked if Activision had hinted at what might come after Pro Skater 3 + 4 is out, Hawk played it close to the vest, replying: "We haven't even released this game [yet]!"

Originally launched in 2003, Tony Hawk's Underground received an impressive 9.2 review score from us at the time, praised for its "virtually flawless" level design and "stellar gameplay." It was the first game in the series that allowed players to step off their skateboards and explore its expansive environments on foot.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on July 11, 2025.
