Thorncrown Rises Tower Locations

Three towers comprise the Shadow of the Past quest, each triggering a sub-quest:

• Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: Located northeast of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: Situated south of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: Found southwest of Thorncrown Rises.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise

Begin this sub-quest by interacting with Itzel, positioned east of the Resounding Rise Tower. The tower's exploration involves:

1. Entering a painting at the hallway's end.
2. Tracking and defeating the Abyssal Mercator.
3. Collecting supply chests in the northern, western, and eastern rooms.
4. Navigating through additional paintings and defeating more Abyssal Mercators.
5. Solving a painting puzzle:
   • Move the top-left painting to the bottom-right.
   • Move the painting behind the top-left display to the bottom-left.
   • Move the top-right painting to the top-left.
   • Move the painting behind the bottom-right display to the top-right.
6. Claiming the Premium Supply chest.
7. A final encounter with the Abyssal Mercator.
8. Collecting the Tidal Supply chest from Itzel.

Completing this sub-quest weakens one of the Command Rise Tower barriers.

Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise

Proceed southeast to the Twilight Rise Tower and speak with Insula to enter. The sub-quest unfolds as follows:

2. Converse with Insula.
3. Enter the secret passage beneath the elevator.
4. Defeat the Abyssal Patricius.
5. Collect the supply chest and pursue the Abyssal Patricius further.
6. A final confrontation with the Abyssal Patricius.
7. Another conversation with Insula.
8. Claim the Tidal Supply chest.

This completion weakens the second Command Rise Tower barrier.

Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise

The final sub-quest activates automatically after completing the previous two. The steps involve:

1. Speaking with Insula and Itzel at the camp northeast of the Command Rise Tower.
2. Utilizing the Wingray to reach the Command Rise Tower.
3. Entering the Tower and following quest markers.
4. Collecting supply chests throughout the tower.
5. Using the grapple to ascend, overcoming obstacles and defeating enemies.
6. A final encounter with the Abyssal Patricius, acquiring the Call of the Abyss Rectifier and a Premium Supply chest.

Exiting via the portal and speaking to Insula and Itzel awards the King of Thessaleo and Shadow of the Tower achievements. Remember to explore thoroughly for all available supply chests and Sonance Caskets.
