Following its recent cancellation, previously leaked gameplay footage of the cancelled co-op title Transformers: Reactivate has re-emerged online. Announced in 2022 by Splash Damage in partnership with Hasbro, Transformers: Reactivate was envisioned as a multiplayer game featuring Generation 1 Autobots and Decepticons uniting against an alien threat to Earth.

Despite the 2022 announcement at The Game Awards, little official gameplay was shown before the project's cancellation. Limited leaks and related merchandise offered only glimpses of the game. Despite some unfinished textures, the leaked footage presents a polished game, incorporating environmental destruction as Bumblebee progresses through the level. The clip concludes with a silent, incomplete cutscene depicting Bumblebee emerging from a portal in New York City, communicating with an ally named Devin about the Legion's assault.

Numerous other leaks from 2020, predating the official announcement and cancellation, have also surfaced. Although Transformers: Reactivate will never be released, the leaked material offers fans a view of Splash Damage's ambitious, yet ultimately unsuccessful, Transformers project.
