Don't Nod, the French studio behind the acclaimed Life is Strange series, has released the first chapter of their new narrative-driven thriller. Dive into Tape 1 now, with Tape 2 launching free for all owners on April 15th.

Unveiled in 2023, the game follows a close group of friends shattered in the summer of 1995. Twenty-seven years later, the past resurfaces with unforeseen and chilling consequences.

Blending nostalgia with psychological thriller elements, the game draws inspiration from It, Yellowjackets, and I Know What You Did Last Summer. The narrative is split into two parts: Bloom and Rage. Currently, only Bloom, the first half of this haunting mystery, is available (February 18th).

The Tape, the second part, originally scheduled for March, will now launch April 15th. This delay allows the team to deliver a refined experience.

The review embargo has lifted, with OpenCritic reporting an average score of 74/100—a promising start for this gripping mystery.
