World of Warcraft Has Good News for Players Who Forgot to Spend Their Anniversary Event Currency
World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch's release.
The 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, allowed players to acquire Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any remaining tokens will now be converted, preventing unused currency from cluttering player inventories. Blizzard confirmed these tokens will not be used in future events.
While a precise release date for Patch 11.1 remains unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, aligning with Blizzard's recent update schedule and following the conclusion of the Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways events (ending February 17th and 24th respectively). This timing unfortunately means the conversion will likely occur after the current Turbulent Timeways event concludes.
Timewarped Badges, obtained through this conversion, are used in Timewalking events, with no planned removal of items purchasable with this currency. Players can therefore save their badges for future events.
