In a recent FAQ, Saber Interactive addressed player concerns regarding the game's launch. Approaching its September 9th release date, the studio reiterated its commitment to a DRM-free experience. While DRM is commonly used to combat piracy, it's often criticized for negatively impacting performance.

While the game will be free of DRM, Saber Interactive confirmed the use of Easy Anti-Cheat on the PC version. Easy Anti-Cheat has faced scrutiny in the past, notably within the Apex Legends community.

Furthermore, the developers have stated there are no immediate plans for official mod support. However, this news is tempered by the promise of exciting features such as a PvP arena, horde mode, and a comprehensive photo mode. Saber Interactive also reassured players that all core gameplay content will be available to all players, with microtransactions and DLC limited exclusively to cosmetic items.
