LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is poised to launch later this month, promising a cosmic transformation that spans everything from the menus to the gameplay. This update invites players to explore the Dual Nova galaxy, featuring the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.

Three new champions are set to shake up the battlefield with their unique abilities. Ryze, the Rune Mage, unleashes powerful area-of-effect damage and can teleport teammates across the map using Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives in chaos, utilizing Paranoia to plunge enemies into darkness. Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time, slowing foes and reviving allies with Chronoshift.

Alongside these newcomers, several champions are receiving significant reworks. Garen's Courage ability now scales over time, enhancing his tankiness, while his Judgment ability will now shred enemy armor. Ambessa is transitioning from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage and life steal. Smaller tweaks are also on the way for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista.

Beyond champion changes, a new Bandle-inspired Rift will spice up non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that appear through portals during the laning phase. Mages are also set to receive much-needed item updates. The new Bandle Fantasy item offers additional burst damage, Hextech GLP800 slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance enhances ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.

Ranked mode is evolving too, with a new season starting alongside the launch of the Challenger’s Star. This includes updates to the Ranked store and a streamlined way to earn seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star unlocks, introducing AAAARAM—a fresh take on ARAM with added augments and galactic visuals. The Wild Pass will also feature two stunning skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus, with Twisted Fate’s new look introducing an entirely new skinline.
