John Cena Honored in WWE 2K25 Farewell Edition
It's impossible to imagine professional wrestling without John Cena, which is why WWE 2K25 is honoring his forthcoming retirement with a special tribute expansion pack, launching today. As part of IGN Fall Fan Fest 2025, we were treated to exclusive new gameplay footage featuring the beloved superstar.
The WWE 2K25 Farewell Tour Edition and its corresponding DLC pack introduce new playable Superstars and cosmetic items as fresh content.

Cena first appeared in a video game in 2003 with WWE WrestleMania XIX, and has since been featured in 38 subsequent titles, not only in WWE games but also as a character like Peacemaker in Fortnite.
Despite his impending retirement from in-ring competition, Cena has stated his intention to continue working with his "WWE family in some capacity for the foreseeable future."
"I've always told the fans that WWE is my home and I love it," Cena added. "Just because I feel my physical career is ending doesn't mean I have to walk away from something I'm so passionate about."
