Hanoi, 1972 – Victory in the air at Điện Biên Phủ – Operation Linebacker II

Hanoi 12 Days and Nights is a game developed by Pirex Games. This title focuses on a revolutionary conflict. It aims to recreate a segment of the aerial Điện Biên Phủ campaign—a fierce struggle by the people of Hanoi against the large-scale U.S. offensive using B-52 bombers. By late December 1972, the U.S. government was compelled to sign the Paris Agreement, restoring peace to North Vietnam.

Known on the U.S. side as Operation Linebacker II, and often referred to as the Điện Biên Phủ in the air campaign, this was the final U.S. military operation against the Democratic Republic of Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It lasted from December 18 to December 30, 1972, following the breakdown of the Paris Conference due to unresolved disagreements over the terms of the peace agreement.
