WOE is a real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game focused on competitive player-versus-player (PVP) battles.
War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an RTS mobile game featuring real-time PVP competition. One player can host a match, and others join to battle each other. All units and buildings are manually controllable, giving players a high degree of freedom.
Key Elements:
WOE simulates 18 powerful empires from the medieval era, including China, Japan, Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, Maya, and others.
Each empire has 8 standard unit types and 1 unique unit. The regular units are identical across all empires, while each empire has its own unique unit, such as Mongolian Riders, Persian War Elephants, and Spanish Conquistadors.
The regular units include:
1. Swordsman: A common and versatile unit.
2. Pikeman: Vulnerable to arrows but effective against cavalry.
3. Archers: Weak against cavalry but strong against pikemen.
4. Light Cavalry: Fast-moving with high mobility, ideal for harassing enemies.
5. Aries: Specialized in attacking buildings.
…
Buildings: Tower, Turret, Castle, Blacksmith Shop, and more.
1. Tower: Primarily used for offense. With 5 farmers stationed in a Watch Tower, it can shoot 6 arrows at once.
2. Turret: Mainly used to destroy structures.
…
In the game, each empire has both strengths and weaknesses. Players can check the detailed descriptions in-game. Here’s a brief overview:
1. Huns: No need to build houses, saving significant time. Cavalry costs 20% fewer resources and can be upgraded to Rangers.
2. Teutonic: Warriors are extremely powerful, similar to historical Spartans, but they move slowly.
…
Highlights:
Core gameplay: After starting a match, aim to handle these tasks simultaneously:
1. Develop Economy: Continuously produce farmers and gather resources (Note: Town Centers, Towers, etc., can serve as temporary shelters for farmers).
2. Harass Enemies: Early on, train a few units to disrupt enemy farmers and build advantages.
3. Destroy Enemies.
Players must cooperate with allies to form legions, outmaneuvering larger enemy forces and protecting high-damage, low-health ally units.
Additionally, focus on unit counters and teamwork:
Learn each unit’s strengths. Examples include:
1. Pikemen counter Cavalry.
2. Cavalry counter Archers.
3. Archers counter Pikemen.
4. Slaves (on camels) counter Cavalry.
5. Koryo Carriages counter all other ranged units.
…
Game Modes:
There are two resources: Food and Gold. As the game advances, the Town Center can be upgraded from the Dark Ages to the Feudal, Castle, and Imperial eras (unlocking more technologies). Upgrading eras unlocks more buildings and units.
The gameplay is complex and requires dedicated learning. For simplicity, the game offers 4 modes (the most common are Normal and Imperial modes):
1. Normal Mode: Resources are limited, prioritizing development. Early-game, send small troops to harass enemies. This mode is challenging but highly engaging.
2. Imperial Deathmatch Mode: Players start in the Imperial era with abundant resources, allowing immediate intense battles.
…
