The Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion Celestial Guardians launches globally on April 30, 2025, inviting players to explore the Alola region under its dual celestial themes of sun and moon.
Pokémon TCG Pocket Celestial Guardians Expansion Highlights
This expansion introduces two digital booster packs featuring Solgaleo and Lunala as centerpiece cards, alongside Lillie and other fan-favorite characters from the Alola era.
Collectors will discover over 200 new cards including powerful Pokémon ex variants like Solgaleo ex and Lunala ex, plus the much-anticipated debut of Alola's starter Pokémon - Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio in the mobile app.
Following launch on May 1, players can showcase their collections with exclusive Rowlet-themed binder covers and display backgrounds. Get your first look at these celestial additions below.
Celestial Guardians Events Schedule
From April 30 (06:00 UTC) through May 13 (05:59 UTC), solo battles offer exclusive promo cards including the legendary Rayquaza ex variant.
Concurrent special missions running until May 29 (05:59 UTC) provide additional opportunities to obtain alternate Rayquaza ex artwork, along with collectible accessories and bonus rewards.
Mark your calendars for Pokémon TCG Pocket's Half-Year Celebration beginning April 29 at 11:00 PM PDT, just hours before the expansion release.
Through May 12, Vol. 7 Promo Pack A Series boosters containing the new Rayquaza ex promo will be available in solo battles, with missions continuing until May 28.
