Ubisoft has released a new trailer showcasing the impressive PC features of Assassin's Creed Shadows. The trailer highlights support for cutting-edge upscaling technologies, ultra-wide monitor compatibility, ray tracing effects (RTGI and RT Reflections), and a wide range of settings optimized for both high-end and lower-spec PCs.

At launch, the PC version will boast compatibility with DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ensuring a smooth and visually stunning experience across a broad spectrum of hardware. A built-in benchmark tool will allow players to easily test performance and confirm compatibility with their specific setups, including ultra-wide monitors.

Minimum specifications for a 1080p, 30 FPS experience include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, coupled with an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8 GB) graphics card. For those aiming for a 4K, 60 FPS experience at ultra settings with advanced ray tracing enabled, a more powerful setup is recommended: an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor paired with an RTX 4090 (24 GB) graphics card.

Ubisoft has partnered with Intel to optimize Assassin's Creed Shadows for their processors, promising strong performance. Post-launch performance analysis on AMD systems will be conducted. The developers aim to address the stuttering issues that plagued previous installments, building on the improvements seen in Mirage compared to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
