Larian Studios recently unveiled a chilling preview of a new evil ending arriving in Baldur's Gate 3's Patch 7. A 52-second cinematic teaser on X (formerly Twitter) showcases the Dark Urge's descent into horrifying depravity.

A Dark Legacy: Spoilers Ahead!

The preview depicts a grim scenario where the Dark Urge's companions witness their leader's complete submission to Bhaal's will, seizing control of the Netherbrain. This harrowing sequence foreshadows a reign of terror, with the companions becoming the first casualties. The Dark Urge, wielding mind control, forces their allies to their deaths. A chilling narration underscores the scene: "Time for the final act. Your tragedy has become mankind's," before a similar fate befalls the Dark Urge.

This is just one of several new evil endings promised for Patch 7. Larian's April community update pledged "improved evil endings...for even darker conclusions." Excitingly, these endings aren't limited to Dark Urge playthroughs. Previously teased endings included the Dark Urge standing amidst a sea of blood and corpses, and a town consumed by "sheer mindless bliss" under the True Absolute's influence.
