A newly discovered Warzone glitch allows players to apply Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos to Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons. This workaround, detailed by Twitter user BSPGamin and highlighted by Dexerto, is currently exploitable but unofficial, meaning it's subject to removal in future updates.

The glitch requires a friend and involves specific steps within a private Warzone match. Players must equip a BO6 weapon in their first loadout slot, join a friend's lobby, then equip an MW3 weapon and rapidly select the desired camo. Simultaneously, the host switches to a private match. The friend then leaves, the player repeats the camo selection while the friend rejoins the private match. If successful, the MW3 camo will be applied to the BO6 weapon.

This exploit addresses a common player frustration: the inability to use MW3 camos earned through significant gameplay on BO6 weapons, which dominate the Warzone meta. While MW3 weapons remain accessible, many players are focused on unlocking BO6 mastery camos (like Dark Matter), rendering their MW3 progress less valuable in Warzone.

Treyarch Studios, however, is addressing a related issue: the absence of in-game challenge tracking for BO6, a feature present in MW3. This update will improve the camo unlock experience for players who prefer to use BO6 camos. Until then, this temporary glitch offers a workaround for those eager to showcase their MW3 camo achievements on their preferred BO6 weaponry.
