Monster Hunter Wilds is set to receive its first Title Update tomorrow, introducing quests that encourage competition for the fastest clear times. In anticipation of this update, Capcom has issued a stern warning against cheating and the use of external tools to manipulate rankings. The company has emphasized its commitment to maintaining a fair and enjoyable gaming environment for all players.

In a recent post on the Monster Hunter account on X/Twitter, Capcom stated, "To ensure a fun and fair experience for our players, we will take action against accounts participating in fraudulent ranking activity, such as the use of cheating or external tools. Accounts deemed to be in breach of this may be suspended, or have restrictions placed on them, such as being unable to receive rewards from these quests." This warning underscores Capcom's dedication to preserving the integrity of the game.

Moreover, Capcom cautioned that players engaging in multiplayer hunts with cheaters could face invalid quest completion times, and their "right to rewards" might be revoked for the entire party. The company advised players to be vigilant and avoid multiplayer sessions with those suspected of cheating. Capcom encouraged players to report any fraudulent activity they encounter during quests.

The new quests will offer attractive rewards, including cosmetic pendants. Some rewards will be distributed to all participants, while others will be awarded based on Completion Time or the hunter's ranking. This makes Capcom's crackdown on cheating understandable, as it aims to prevent any issues with rewards and completion times.

The Time-Based Competition Quests will be launched with Title Update 1 and can be accessed through the new Arena Quest Counter in the Grand Hub in Suja.
